Shower Drain for Tile Installations with Ultra Low Profile

This ultra-low profile bolt-down shower drain is designed especially for locations where the installation space is tight. Its minimum total drain height of 3” ensures ease of installation in these conditions. Manufactured and assembled in the USA by Plastic Oddities, the “Friend of the Plumber.”  This shower drain is for use with tile or marble showers where a shower pan liner is required.   The drain solvent welds over 2" or inside 3" Schedule 40 DWV PVC pipe. Collar is rounded to prevent cutting or tearing of shower pan liner and key-hole slots allow collar to be clamped without removing bolts. Weep holes in the collar allow drainage from the pan liner. Drain base has beveled edge for ease of installation and elimination of standing water. 2" IPS plastic strainer barrel allows adjustment to the desired finish level.   The barrel also has metal inserts that allow the strainer to easily be replaced or upgraded to a more decorative style.
